Some weddings stay with you long after the last song has played. Claire and Lucas‘ colorful summer Fernblick wedding in St. Corona am Wechsel is one of those days I still remember with a smile.

A Colorful Summer Wedding at Fernblick

From the beginning, the day was full of color. Claire’s love for flowers inspired the bright floral arrangements. However, the people brought just as much color to the celebration. The morning started across the street from Fernblick. Lucas and his best man got ready in a charming vintage hotel. Its warm wooden interior immediately reminded me of an old European movie.

Meanwhile, Claire was getting ready with her bridesmaids. One of my favorite moments happened when they saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. Smiles quickly turned into tears. Claire looked incredible in her lace gown and soft waves. Yet, it was everyone’s emotional reaction that made this moment so special.

Celebrating Inside Fernblick

Later, the celebration moved indoors without losing its energy. The dance floor quickly filled with friends and family. From the first song, everyone was ready to celebrate. We also stepped outside for one of my favorite portraits. Fernblick’s iconic movie-theater-style sign displayed Claire and Lucas‘ names in glowing lights.
For a moment, it looked as if they were starring in their own movie. And in a way, they were.
