Joy and Noah traveled all the way from Minnesota, USA, to celebrate their elopement in Iceland. They dreamed of an intimate ceremony surrounded by dramatic landscapes, wild nature, and the quiet beauty that only Iceland can offer. Our adventure began at the iconic Skógafoss waterfall. With its powerful cascade and misty air, it offered the perfect location for emotional, romantic photos. From there, we continued to the black sand beach of Vík. The wind played gently with Joy’s dress, and every moment felt spontaneous and magical. The contrast of the black sand and moody skies created a striking, unforgettable scene.

Joy and Noah had a clear vision. They wanted emotional, storytelling images with a cinematic, vintage-inspired feel. Thanks to our video call before the elopement and their inspiring Pinterest board, I was able to fully understand their style. Together, we turned their vision into reality—capturing both the grand Icelandic landscapes and the quiet, loving details.

As the final stop, we visited the breathtaking Diamond Beach. The shimmering icebergs on the deep black sand created a surreal, dreamlike setting. This location perfectly reflected the raw, wild beauty of Iceland and made for the most memorable end to their day.
